I feel like collecting August edition mag of pop culture/music/design just because August is my favorite month on the year, coincidentally it happened to be my birthday month… go figure aha! Mags like Complex/GQ/The Source/Desktop. Although magazines are pricey and to buy several might be a waste of cash quick idea; so perhaps instead of buy them i’ll just read them within the mag store. Might just end up buying the ones i desire/enjoyed the most to add to my almost invisible mag collection here. Also why stop at August, why don’t i start a collection? 

I reckon it would be a great item to collect as magazine publishers are in abundance with a large varieties of topics/genres to choose from and most international imported magazines being so dope, i wouldn’t mind starting a collection of mags from around the world. To have a magazine from 20 years ago would be so entertaining to read in my opinion; being able to see the past trends/styles that were THE thing back then, and to see the fashion/design trends that cycle over generations.

I’m disappointed that my favourite place to go grab a handful of mags to read cover to cover is gone in a quiet corner of the book shop went bankrupt; Borders being the place i’m talking about. I want to find a new place to be able to chill and sit dow to read monthly issues of my favourite magazines. Right now it seems like Mag Nation would be the next best thing, although the only thing is that the store itself is rather small; but with Borders gone it will have to do! Plus they do have couches to zone out in too.
